​This workshop will explore collage as a form of artistic expression and help participants become more familiar with their own creative process. We will cover the fundamentals of the process, such as inspiration, planning, and composition. Participants will learn different paper collage techniques, such as hand-cut paper collage and basic collage application skills. Students will experiment with a range of materials, such as found materials, photographs, text, textiles, and more. They may also learn how to incorporate texture, color, shape, and pattern into their work. Various substrates will be provided.

Students are requested to bring various papers and magazines to share with the class.
