The Fluid Art Experience

Unleash your creativity in this fun and hands-on class focused on the art of acrylic pour painting. This technique allows you to create stunning, fluid abstract artworks by pouring and manipulating acrylic paints on canvas. Whether you're a beginner or have some painting experience, this course will introduce you to the exciting world of fluid art, providing you with the skills to experiment and create vibrant, one-of-a-kind pieces.

What You Will Learn:

• Basic Techniques: Learn the core techniques of acrylic pouring, including the "dirty pour," "flip cup," "swipe," and "puddle pour."

• Build on the Basics to achieve advanced techniques.

• Understanding the Materials: Familiarize yourself with the essential supplies like acrylic paints, pouring medium, canvases, and tools required to create unique designs.

This class is perfect for anyone looking to explore the world of abstract painting. No prior painting experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! Acrylic pour painting is a therapeutic and rewarding way to express yourself through color and texture. 

Dress to make a mess. Class will be held in the lower level classroom.

Please bring the following supplies:

• 2-3 8x8 or larger canvases per class

• Large container acrylic titanium white paint

• Various of your favorite acrylic paint colors (you will want to bring at least 4-5 colors per class, do not bring pre-mixed pour paints)

• Small (4-8 ounce recommended) plastic jars with secure lids for saving unused mixed paints

• Painters tape

• Push pins

The remaining supplies will be provided as part of the tuition cost.
