where creativity meets curiosity! Designed for ages 9–14, this hands-on class is all about experimenting, exploring, and making a joyful mess along the way. Young artists will test out exciting materials, mix unexpected techniques, and discover what happens when imagination leads the way. From bold color experiments to wild mixed-media creations, this is a space to try new things, take creative risks, and have a whole lot of fun doing it. Lab coats optional—curiosity required!

Dive into art with something to say. Campers will explore projects inspired by identity, emotions, community, social commentary, and popular culture—creating meaningful, expressive work that reflects both their own experiences and the world around them.

WEEK TWO: FAMOUS ARTISTS

Each day, kids will dive into the colorful, creative worlds of legendary artists like Banksy, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Georgia O'Keeffe, Frida Kahlo, Claude Monet, and more! They'll uncover what makes each artist's style so unique—then roll up their sleeves and create their own masterpieces inspired by those big ideas. By the end of the week, campers won't just know about the artists—they'll feel like one too!

WEEK THREE: SPLATTER & SCULPT

Get hands-on with messy, creative fun—finger painting, shaving-cream marbling, bubble-wrap and sponge printing, glue-and-sand texture art, and exciting clay projects. We'll ditch the paintbrush and explore all the wild, wonderful ways to make a mark—using hands, tools, textures, and just about anything we can get our hands on! It's all about experimenting, getting a little messy, and discovering that art can be made in so many unexpected ways.

Each day is a splash of a new color—think Red Day, Blue Day, Yellow Day, and more! Campers will dive into one color at a time through playful, hands-on art projects that bring the whole rainbow to life. From bold, abstract creations to painting, clay, and colorful experiments, it's a week bursting with creativity. Along the way, they'll discover artists like Picasso who are known for their magical use of color—and then create vibrant masterpieces of their own!

WEEK FIVE: NATURE EXPLORERS

A perfect week for nature lovers and curious explorers! Campers will head outdoors (weather permitting) to gather inspiration, then turn it into art through scavenger hunts, sketchbook field notes, leaf and flower rubbings, texture stamping, and shadow tracing in the sun. It's all about getting a little fresh air and seeing the outdoors like an artist would!

WEEK SIX: OCEAN DEPTHS & JUNGLE CANOPIES

Dive into a wild week of creativity inspired by creatures big and small! Campers will craft colorful jellyfish mobiles, sculpt pinch-pot sea turtles, design bold jungle and ocean animal masks, and experiment with textured animal print art like zebra stripes and cheetah spots. It's a playful, hands-on adventure for animal lovers ready to explore both land and sea through art!

WEEK SEVEN: ART TRADITIONS AROUND THE WORLD

Pack your creativity and take an artistic trip around the world! Campers will explore global art traditions—African-inspired print patterns and masks, Japanese origami, Mexican folk art, Indian tribal designs, Aboriginal dot painting, and European-style mosaics. Using clay, paint, paper, and more, they'll create projects inspired by these diverse cultures while discovering how art connects us across the globe.

WEEK EIGHT: ART & MINDFULNESS

Slow down, breathe, and create. In this calming art class, kids will explore mindful practices like zentangles, mandalas, geometric patterns, quiet observation, and neurographic drawing. Through playful experimentation with shapes, colors, and textures, young artists will build focus, confidence, and creativity in a relaxed, supportive space—one peaceful line at a time.
